Precourse Self Assessments are required for ACLS Provider, ACLS Renewal, PALS Provider, and PALS Renewal courses.

Please prepare for your ACLS or PALS course by doing the following:

  1. Review and understand the information in your Provider Manual.
  2. Review and understand the information on CPR. The resuscitation scenarios require that your BLS skills and knowledge are current.
  3. You will not be taught how to read or interpret ECGs in the course, nor will you be taught details about pharmacology. Please use your book to study the material.
  4. Review, understand, and complete the Precourse Self Assessment.  In order to access this self assessment, please click on the appropriate link to the right. You must login in to your account or create an account to access the assessment. You do NOT need to complete the Precourse Work, only the Precourse Self Assessment.
  5. Print your scores for the Precourse Self Assessment and bring them with you to the class. If this is not completed and printed off, you cannot attend class. You must have a score of at least 85 percent. Please note that you can take the test repeatedly until an 85 percent is achieved. This will help prepare you for the course.
