Colorado Cardiac CPR is an American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center, American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) Training Center, and National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) Training Center. We currently have 2 different classrooms located in Littleton, and Wheat Ridge. Our instructors have years of experience in the field as well as in the classroom.

Colorado Cardiac CPR | Basic Life Support

The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner.  

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is an advanced course for healthcare providers that covers the knowledge and skills to better recognize and treat critically ill infants and children. Upon completion, students will understand how to recognize respiratory failure, shock, and cardiac arrest and initiate advanced resuscitation. 

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is an advanced course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care, and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. 

Basic CPR/AED and First Aid is a beginner course designed for anyone who is NOT in a healthcare profession, but wants or needs to know the basics of CPR, AED use, and First Aid in case of an emergency. 

The American Academy of Pediatrics’ Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)  is an excellent option for anyone in Labor and Delivery , the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit,) who has yet to receive their certificate. 

Tactical Medicine is an advanced course created by the U.S. Department of Defense Committee on TCCC to teach strategies for providing trauma care on the battlefield. TCCC discusses care under fire, tactical field care, and tactical evacuation care.

Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT) is an HSI certified course to prepare participants for an active shooter scenario. It includes: situational awareness training, critical decision making, and essential first aid skills related to excessive bleeding. Participants will learn to evaluate a threat, respond effectively, and control bleeding in a life-threatening incident.

Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) is an advanced course created to improve the quality of prehospital emergency trauma care.  This course is for EMTs, paramedics, nurses, physician assistants, physicians and other prehospital providers.

Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) is an advanced EMS education course that fully addresses how to best assess and manage the most common medical crises in patients.  This course is for EMTs, paramedics, nurses, physician assistants, physicians and other prehospital providers.
